Your spouse, children up to age 30, unmarried siblings of any age, and parents or grandparents aged 55 and over — of either the main applicant or the spouse. Every applicant aged 16 and over is screened individually on identity, criminal history, source of wealth and reputation, and each attends the verification interview. Children under 16 are not separately screened or interviewed, though their documents form part of the family file.

Discovered during screening after being omitted, the same matter becomes a credibility question about the entire file, which is a far worse position. The ceiling is 30, but age alone is not the test — dependency criteria also apply, and a financially independent adult in full-time work is a harder case than a child in full-time study. We will tell you when we think a particular dependent is unlikely to be accepted rather than letting you pay to discover it.

Antigua permits dual nationality and does not require renunciation. Whether your current country permits you to hold two passports is governed by its own law, and a small number do not. We flag it early where it applies.

Antigua & Barbuda levies no personal income tax (abolished in 2016), no capital gains tax, no inheritance tax and no wealth tax. But holding the passport does not make you tax-resident anywhere, so your actual position depends on where you genuinely live. You acquire a nationality in a jurisdiction with none of the four taxes that matter most to mobile families, which is useful in succession planning and adds no new burden. It is tax-neutral for most UAE residents rather than tax-advantageous, and it is no substitute for getting your residence position right.
